Our Breeding: We believe in quality, not quantity. The goal of Fran-San is to breed the ideal German Shepherd Dog that conforms to breed standards. We breed for type, temperament, beauty, intelligence and trainability. Our puppies are hand raised and well socialized. They are exposed to different sounds and environment. We take great pride in the puppies we produce. All our puppies are fully guaranteed. Click here for more information. ( About Us ) Fran-San German Shepherds is not a large operation, breeding only two or three litters a year. We do not and will not run a puppy mill as some do. We are very selective in breeding, in matching the right female to the right male. Most of our German Shepherds are from American show lines, occasionally combined with German show lines to bring out the best of the two sides and at affordable price. We believe we have some of the finest and most beautiful German Shepherds that you will find. Click through all our dogs and puppies web pages then you be the judge. Want to have some fun with your puppy as well as when he becomes an adult. Showing dogs in conformation is a great sport where the thrill of competition is combined with the joy of seeing your dog winning. The word conformation means structure, shape, and outline according to breed standard. You best source to a beautiful well bred German Shepherd or any other breed of dogs is to find a good breeder that is a member of their local and national breed club. Better yet if at all possible, join your local German Shepherd Dog Club. We do have a German Shepherd Dog Club here in Raleigh, NC. If you would like to join our Club the address is: Millbrook Exchange Park, 1905 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC. The club meeting is the first Wednesday of each month with socialization at 7:00 PM and the program / business meeting starting at 7:30 PM.
