A huge gallery of our adorable puppies at various stages of development,
starting as very young puppies, up to teenagers to adults.
For one to know, a German Shepherd puppy is born with their ears down. From
eight weeks to twelve weeks old the base of the ears should start to come up
and should be fully erect by six months of age after teething.
The traditional black and tan/red color when first born are almost all black
and will lighten up with more tan/red as it gets older up to one year of age.
At nine months old a German Shepherd will quit growing in height, may be two
to three years old before fully maturing out.
